INDOOR TRAINING & YOGA CLASS

Its that time of year again, yep, time for the Kinetic Systems Indoor Workouts. Same as always .... Starting Tuesday December 22nd. we will meet every Tuesday from 7 till 8pm. here at the store. Bring your trainer, a towl to set the bike on, and of course your bike, for a good hour workout stressing body alignment and posture along with quality pedaling technique.
Also we will again offer a YOGA class just after the workout, usually starts around 8:30pm. This class will be led by non other than our own Cyclocross Team Captain, Massage Therapist, and Yoga teacher, Anne Schwartz. Need more info call jeff at the store. 248 625 7000

STATE CYCLOCROSS RACE

State Cyclocross Race, Sunday December 6th. at Springfield Oaks Metro Park in Davisburg. Racing starts at 10am. The Orange Crush flyover will be there and hopefully some good weather , or maybe not. There will also be hot food and refreshments at the race as well as a warm heated room to enjoy the food in.

SCARY RIDE '09

It's that spooky time of year again when the trees change colors, leaves fall to the ground, and ghosts and goblins come out to play. We will be celebrating this most beautiful time of year with our annual Scary Ride on Sat. Oct. 24th. The ride will leave from Jeff's house in Ortonville at 7pm or when it gets dark enough. Bring your headlights, warm clothes, maybe a little snack to pass, and a musical instrument if you play one. This will be a no drop ride, very casual, but very fun. After the ride enjoy a huge bonfire, snacks, drinks, and hopefully some live music from the Jeff and Jack Jug Band. For more info you can of course call the shop at (248)625-7000.

Saturday Morning MTB Ride

Every Saturday morning, weather permitting, a group of us meet at Bald Mountain Recreation for a no drop, beginner level, mountain bike ride. The ride totals just about 8 miles with a return to the parking area about half way through. This is a great opportunity to famliarize yourself with trail riding on a beginner level trail. We meet at the Harmon Rd. Lot of the rec area. This lot is on the corner of Predmore and Harmon. The ride leaves the lot at 9am so be there a few minutes early to allow time to get ready. Wear your bug spray as it is not uncommon for this ride to slow and even if need be, stop! All skill levels are welcome, and no one will be left behind.
